Doreen Carter, DBA, CPA, CIA
Doreen Carter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the states of North Carolina and Georgia. This means that she can provide tax preparation services within the United States as well as represent clients on matters before the Internal Revenue Service. She serves clients residing in various states throughout the United States, many of whom are military – active duty and veterans – who face unique tax and financial challenges.

Doreen has proudly served her clients and fellow citizens in the public and private sectors, healthcare industry, professional organizations and in the U.S. Army. For the past 20+ years she has served as a tax professional and business consultant for her clients.
Doreen is a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) since May 2022 conferred by the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Her education also includes an MBA from Webster University in Beaufort, South Carolina and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Her professional certifications include Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
“I most enjoy demystifying the tax process for my clients. People are so often afraid of the IRS or the thought of not meeting their tax obligations or just don’t like the financial aspect of their business. It’s important they understand the relationship between their Income Statements and Balance Sheets and keeping track of their equity – particularly as S-Corporations. My job is to help them to understand their financials, empowering them to make decisions for their businesses and their families. I am honored when they entrust me to do so.”
